The Ultimate Miracle

There’s a old well behind the house I grew up in that we used to throw stuff in as kids. The neighbor next door would holler at us if he caught us back there, but we would sneak anyways because we had so much fun loosening the rocks off the edge and watching them fall and make awesome splashes. Best looking cannonballs ever. Seriously.
One day my sister and I were out there tossing stuff in when I slipped and fell down into the well. As I struggled to stay afloat, I saw the horrified look on my sister’s face as she looked over the edge, and I yelled to go get help!
I clung to the rock wall for a really long time and realized that I could die in this hole. It was a long way up there. I prayed for help, and the next thing I knew, miraculously, I was at the top and was able to pull myself out onto the ground. I never saw an angel, but there is no doubt in my mind that God rescued me.
That was the last time I ever played at the well.
As for my sister, she was so scared she didn’t even try to get help. Turns out, she went and hid under her bed. Lol!

Oftentimes people toy around with temptation and sin, ignoring all the warnings of conscience, Gods word, and other people. The next thing you know, you find yourself looking up from a deep pit that you wonder if there is any way out of. You can’t climb out on your own, and your friends can’t offer the help you need to make things right.
The good news is, no one has to die there. God has thrown a lifeline to lost humanity in Jesus Christ. He alone can raise you out of the pit of guilt and shame and set your feet on solid ground again. Through the blood of his cross, you can be rescued from certain death and given new abundant life that will last forever!
Sounds like a great deal to me! Lead someone to Christ today. He will perform the ultimate miracle and transform them from darkness to light, from death to life!

The gospel is news worth sharing.
